I've been feeling really uninspired and bored with my art for a few months now. I haven't made anything noteworthy in a while. It's all been AiC pointlessness and halfassed sketches...
You guys are pretty creative, so I thought I'd reach out to y'all and ask for some challenging artwork ideas. I'll attempt anything you request, no matter what it is. Actually, at this point, I don't even care if it's challenging, I just don't know what to draw....!
So yeah... GIVE IT TO ME, BABY. (Please?)

Oooooooh. This is fun. Prepare for a the kind of request I typically make to Byron - a paragraph of ridiculous stuff! I've always wondered how someone else would handle this... plus, it's something to slap in your resume because it is art in it's purest form.
Ryu (Street Fighter), dressed for the heyday of disco, fires a hadoken in a suit at a dump-truck full of defective and mutated Furbys. The Queen of England drives this dump-truck with her arm around her trucker stop squeeze, robotic Morgan Freeman. Queenie is smoking 5 cigars at once and cutting off Buzz Lightyear who is riding a tall unicycle. Buzz has arms for legs and legs for arms. Walter White (Breaking Bad) and Count Dracula are having a tea party in the middle of the road dressed as girl scouts, about to be hit by the reckless driving queen.

lol, And here I was expecting serious requests ;)! These'll do though! "You'll never keep the hula hoop up longer than 10 seconds," they said! "You'll drop it," they said...! Oops, I just realized you wrote "buffet," and not "birthday." I need to read closer if I am going to do the next ones :'(

What is a serious request, I wonder...
I can only imagine it involves painting a still life or something. However, that is boring and something that you have probably had to do many times in the past... and definitely more times in the future if you want a piece of paper that says you're good enough (despite the fact you are.) It may just be me, but drawing something ridiculous and fun is all that interest me in art... I can appreciate the skill that goes into making a photo-realistic drawing of something, but I've always considered art first and foremost about being creative which doesn't fit with drawling a vase.
I say, I seem to be babbling. My apologies. I simply don't know what a serious request is, though that is probably my own problem.

When I said "serious," I was meaning like the types of requests I usually get from people (characters that they want to see illustrated based on their ideas, some other illustration thing that has meaning to them, etc.) People don't usually ask me to do crazy random things, so in a way, these will be more of a challenge than I usually get. It's a good thing, so don't get me wrong ;)

Wow. Tres, you have shown me that I have wasted my talent. My version of this is unworthy to share a page with yours...I would be fascinated to see your take on some of the other ridiculous requests the Professor has given me. If you feel up to it, try this one: Mr. Clean, Hank Hill and Squidward as The Misfits from Jem. Mr. Clean is playing a synthesis guitar made out of a shark, Hank a bass made out of the elephant man's bones and Squiward a drum set made out of alarm clocks. King Midget Tiger Woods is juggles 1/50th scale 3 stooges who are all dressed like different fast food chain mascots to the side of them. Cybroclops looks on and exclaims how he feels about what he is seeing while on the moon, on the chair, and in my spaghetti. He is wearing a t-shirt portraying Babar, wearing a Rorschach style mask, doing cocaine. A Monty mole is riding a saddle on his afro. This could take place in one picture, or a 2 panel comic.

Ah, very nice. Having in some small way affected what the weirdest thing you've ever drawn is fills me with joy. If you choose to draw the thing Byron posted, which is a request I made of him in the past, it might help to know who Cybroclops is... If you are bored as hell you can read a bit about him too.

A twist, huh? How about a raccoon paw print on a fogged-up Renault window?
